When changing gear oil, it's a good idea to test the lip seals.
These seals essentially hold back the sea and keep the oil inside, keeping both from mixing.
At Marine Engine Servicing, we always test the lip seals using a pressure gauge, this ensures your seals are working in tip-top condition and your gearbox is protected from damaging salt water.
